Naya Rivera’s family has settled their wrongful death lawsuit against Ventura County, CA.

The Blast exclusively broke the news on February 28th.

The “Glee” actress’ family is reportedly “very pleased” with the outcome of the lawsuit.

Her six-year-old son, Josey Dorsey, will receive “just compensation” for having to endure the drowning of his mother.

Naya accidentally drowned while boating on Lake Piru in 2020.

Her family’s lawyer said in a statement, “we are very pleased that the monetary settlement will significantly assist Josey with his life beyond this tragedy.”

Josey was only four-years-old when Naya died.

His now six and survived by his father, Ryan Dorsey, and Naya’s family.

The monetary amount of the settlement is unknown at this time and subject to approval by the Ventura Superior Court on March 16th.
