Naomi Judd took her own life in April at the age of 76.

Her daughter, Ashley, told GMA in May that she had taken her own life with a firearm.

Naomi’s husband, Larry Strickland, and other daughter, Wynonna are now suing Dusty Rhoades.

Rhoades is the Sheriff of Williamson County, Tennessee, where Naomi died.

The family is suing to block the release of records related to her death.

These records include “photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and written reports.”

Some of the evidence collected is apparently very “graphic.”

The family is asking that these records remain confidential and withheld from the public.

They state that they will suffer “irreparable harm” if they are released.
