Sony recently debuted a poster look of Naomi Ackie’s feature as Whitney Houston in the biopic “I Want to Dance with Somebody.”
Ackie donned a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt, and jeans in the picture.
The biopic's title shares the same name with Houston’s lead single from her 1987 album, “Whitney.”
The biopic was written by Anthony McCarten and is directed by Kasi Lemmons

stars as Whitney's ex-husband Bobby Brown and Bria Danielle Singleton as their late daughter Bobbi Brown.
The showrunners had a gruelling time finding the right person to play Whitney Houston in the biopic.
"Naomi Ackie’s screen test was so powerful, it sent shivers up my spine," said Clive Davis, co-producer of the biopic.
Ackie has starred in "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," "The Corrupted," "Yardie," and "Lady Macbeth."
"I Wanna Dance with Somebody" debuts in theaters on December 21, 2022.
