On January 26, the body of SAG-AFTRA actor, Moses J. Moseley was found in his car, with a gunshot wound to his head.

Initially, the authorities deemed the death of “The Walking Dead” alum a suicide but evidence has led to an open investigation.

Moseley’s family never believed it to be a suicide, instead, they felt he had been kidnapped and killed.

Now, a fresh statement from the Georgia police points to the fact that detectives are viewing this not as a suicide, but as foul play or an accident.

According to Moseley’s family, the gunshot entry was on his cheek, below the eye, and the bullet was lodged in his skull.

This is unusual for a suicide case as most people who kill themselves with a gun hold it to their temple.

Most gunshot wounds from suicides also have an exit point, because of the close range of the shot.

Other factors like blood spatter and the way Moseley was found holding the gun also belie the suicide theory.

The Georgia police is actively investigating the same, and are open to all venues in the ongoing enquiry.
