Melissa Etheridge recently reflected on the death of her son, Beckett.

Beckett died in May 2020 from an overdose.

The 21-year-old was addicted to Opioid and other narcotics for years.

In an interview with Page Six, Etheridge shared that she has moved on with her life.

She also stated that she feels no guilt or shame over her son’s death.

The singer said her son wouldn’t want her to run her life because of his choices.

Back in 2020, Etheridge mourned his death in an emotional Instagram post.

She wrote at the time, “My son Beckett, who was just 21, struggled to overcome his addiction and finally succumbed to it.

Etheridge recently premiered her latest off-Broadway project - “My Window - A Journey Through Life.”
