Megan Thee Stallion was just handed the to Houston Texas.

The Megan Thee Stallion holiday is on May 2, in honor of the artist’s late mother.

Megan said she would continue to give back to the city.

Mayor Sylvester Turner said Megan’s philanthropic acts greatly helped the people during the pandemic and to battle homelessness.

Megan’s acts were done mainly through her non profit Pete and Thomas foundation.

Megan was in Houston Texas for her graduation.

She said she had a tough time staying motivated enough to finish college.

Megan said she wanted to open assisted living facilities after college.

She said she previously wanted to study nursing but changed her mind.
