Matt Bomer has been confirmed to star in Netflix's upcoming biopic about Leonard Bernstein.

He has been cast alongside Bradley Cooper, who is also directing, and Carrey Mulligan.

Bernstein was married to Felicia Montealegre for decades, and they had three kids.

It wasn't until 2013 that Montealgre revealed that Bernstein was gay, and she was aware.

Bomer's character in the film is a clarinet player with whom Bernstein had a relationship.

Bomer has been on hit shows like American Horror Story and hit films like "Magic Mike XXL."

Cooper said that the movie would begin filming in May and that he always wanted to be a conductor.

Asides from starring in the movie, he is also co-writing the script and directing the film.

The film's primary focus will be the beautifully complex story of the marriage between Bernstein and his wife.
