Mark Hamill is best known for playing Jedi Luke Skywalker in “Star Wars.”

He recently answered a fan’s question about his role.

On November 25, author Damon Young tweeted him a question.

He asked him about the dramatic hood reveal at the end of “The Force Awakens.”

He asked if the movement was deliberate, as it echoed the dramatic flair of previous Jedis.

Hamill revealed that “nobody told me how to do it specifically.”

He mentioned that he just wanted to “maximize the moment.”

He added that he was inspired by Sir Alec Guinness in the first “Star Wars” film.

Guinness played an aged Obi-Wan Kenobi in the very first film in 1977.
