Carrie Fisher was best known for playing Princess Leia in the “Star Wars” franchise.

She suffered a heart attack while on a flight to Los Angeles and passed away on December 27, 2016

Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, passed away from a stroke the day after.

This was a huge hit to Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd.

Lourd honored her late mother by posting a sweet throwback from when Lourd was only a child.

‘Star Wars’ co-star Mark Hamill also took a moment to share his own throwback snap.

He described Fisher as “never not fun” and closed the tweet with the hashtag #CarrieOnForever.

Hamill and Fisher last shared the screen together in 2017’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

Fisher would have turned 65 on October 21, 2021.
