Margaret Atwood is the author of the controversial “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

The book was first published in 1985 and became a Hulu series in 2017.

Atwood has witnessed many challenges to remove her book from schools throughout the decades.

However, she has created the unthinkable: an unburnable edition of her book.

Her publisher, Penguin Random House, announced an auction for the book on June 7.

All proceeds from the unburnable book sale will go to PEN America.

PEN America is an organization dedicated to fighting book censorship.

They released a video of Atwood, now 82, trying to burn the book with a flamethrower.

The book will be on display at Sotheby’s New York on June 3.
