Maren Morris revealed to GLAAD media why she has such a burning passion to defend the LGBTQ+ community.

Morris shared that she get’s really heated especially when the voice of hate comes from an adult.

She alluded to her feud with Brittany Aldean who went viral for making a transphobic statement.

Morris shared that anti-LGBT rhetoric “hits closer to home” because she has gay family members and a son now.
