Man Who Attacked Dave Chappelle Will Not Face Felony Charges

The LAPD identified Isaiah Lee, 23, as the man who attacked Dave Chappelle.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declined to press felony charges.

They referred the case to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office for possible misdemeanor charges.

The man attacked Chappelle with a plastic gun that housed a knife.

It was reportedly that the weapon was in his hand at the time of the attack.

Lee is currently being held on $30,000 dollar bail.

Fortunately, Chapelle was not injured in the attack and continued to perform.

According to Page Six, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Elon Musk were in the front row during the attack.
