Louis C.K. was accused of sexual misconduct by five women.

C.K. directed a new film titled “Fourth of July.”

He wrote the movie with fellow comedian Joe List.

“Fourth of July” will premiere on June 30 at the Beacon Theater.

C.K. asked fans to request the movie at theaters if they wanted to watch it.

C.K. said the story would be told from two perspectives.

He said directing the film was a pleasure.

C.K. was accused of sexual misconduct in 2007 during the #MeToo movement, which he admitted to and apologized for.

He has won a Grammy and an Emmy and sold out the Madison Square Garden eight times since the accusations.
