The title for the long-awaited “Lord of the Rings” series finally has a name.

The latest J.R.R. Tolkien adaption will be called “The Rings of Power.”

The upcoming series is scheduled to premiere on September 2, 2022.

Not too much is known about the show so far.

It plans to cover the second age of Middle Earth.

This includes the forging of the rings and the rise of Sauron.

It will also likely feature the last alliance between elves and men.

Many fans expressed excitement after getting a first look at the trailer.

The series will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
