Lizzo has voiced her concerns over the new look of "cancel culture."

She wrote in a Twitter post about how the term has "become trendy, misused, and misdirected."

Lizzo added, "I hope we can phase out of this [and] focus our outrage on the real problems."

Several users sided with Lizzo comments on cancel culture.

"The power has gone out of it, and that's a real loss for marginalized peoples," one user said.

Lizzo previously slammed body shamers in a TikTok post.

"The discourse around bodies is officially tiring," the singer said in a video she shared on the video-sharing platform.

The "Grrls" singer received flak over after an ableist slur included in the song.

Lizzo later apologized for using the slang and removed it from the song.
