Leonardo DiCaprio has once again proven himself as a serious actor.

The Oscar-winner used his “Hollywood powers” to make sure another Oscar-winner did not strip down to her birthday suit.

“Don’t Look Up” is the latest film Leo stars in alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, and many more.

In an interview with The Guardian on Sunday, December 12, McKay revealed that Leo was opposed to Streep’s nude scene.

McKay called Streep ‘fearless,’ but that didn’t matter to Leo.

He highly ‘opposed’ the veteran actress from stripping down because he considers her ‘royalty.’

“But you know who had a problem with it? Leo [DiCaprio]. Leo just views Meryl as film royalty,” McKay said.

He said something to me like, ‘Do you really need to show that?’ And I was like: ‘It’s President Orlean; it’s not Meryl Streep.’

Lucky for Leo, there is a body double used for this particular scene.
