Legendary Native American Actor Dead at 85

Famous for iconic roles in “Breaking Bad” and “The Lone Ranger.”

Saginaw Grant, who was the hereditary chief of the Sac & Fox Nation of Oklahoma, died peacefully in his sleep at a private care facility in Hollywood at 85.

Although born in Oklahoma, Grant developed a love for Los Angeles after becoming well-known for his roles in Hollywood films and eventually moved out West.

“He made his home here as an actor, but he never forgot his roots in Oklahoma. He remained a fan of the Sooner Nation,” his publicist told the AP.

Grant also appeared in other well-known movies and TV shows, including “Baywatch,” “My Name Is Earl,” “American Horror Story,” “Shameless,” and “Community.”
