Vanessa Bryant’s legal battle against LA County is wrapping up.

Tuesday, August 23 marked day 10 of the ongoing trial which started on August 10.

For Tuesday’s court session, jurors heard closing arguments from the plaintiff’s lawyers.

Vanessa’s lawyer Craig Lavoie gave a 75-minute closing statement.

He reminded the jurors of the inconsistencies in the County’s officials’ testimonies.

He also urged the jurors to give verdict that would give Vanessa and Chris Chester, a co-plaintiff, justice.

Chester’s lawyer Jerry Jackson recommended an amount of damages award during his closing argument.

He urged that both Vanessa and Chester should be award $2.5 million each.

Jackson also recommended up to $1 million in damages for each year of future suffering.
