Rapper Coolio has passed away at the age of 59.
Coolio is famous for his hit song, “Gangsta’s Paradise.”
The Compton native died sometime on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
He was visiting a friend when he slumped in the bathroom.
His friend found him unconscious and EMTs pronounced him dead on the scene.
His longtime manager Jarez confirmed the tragic news.
Coolio was the brain behind the theme song of Nickelodeon’s “Kenan & Kel” series.
Many have taken to social media to mourn his loss.
He was survived by his 10 children.
