Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner just proved they run the show when it comes to Instagram.

“Less than a week after the half-sisters complained about Instagram’s gradual shift to featuring more video-based programming on users’ feed.”

The social media app is making changes.

However, the changes come after the CEO of Instagram responded to the makeup moguls’ criticism.

According to reports, Instagram is halting plans to make the platform more like TikTok.

IG is owned by Facebook’s Meta platform, and it recently rolled out plans to alter its algorithm so users would have more video content fed to them.

Meta is reportedly under pressure to perform after Facebook reported that it lost users for the first time ever this year.

There’s also been a drop in revenue, which is the first time in its history!

“I’m glad we took a risk – if we’re not failing every once in a while, we’re not thinking big enough or bold enough,” Instagram’s head CEO Adam Mosseri told Platformer.
