Kim announced “SKKN By Kim” on June 1, with sales starting June 21.

However, now Kim has been sued for trademark infringement by a small business.

The Brooklyn-based business, Beauty Concepts claims it has rights already to “SKKN+”

The Black-owned esthetician studio initially reached out to Kim last year after she trademarked the name.

But the “KUWTK” alum reportedly ignored their warning and proceeded to release her line.

Kim’s lawyer, Michael Rhodes is, however, countering the lawsuit.

Rhodes describes the lawsuit as a “current shakedown effort.”

He insists that Kim’s brand doesn’t breach the trademark rules.
