Kenny Chesney is mourning the loss of a fan.
Over the weekend, the iconic country singer performed in Denver, Colorado at the Empower Field at Mile High.
The July 30th show was part of his “Here And Now Tour.”
Per the Denver Police, an adult female concertgoer fell to her death AFTER the show ended.
She was riding along an escalator railing and tragically fell off to the concourse below at approximately 10:52 PM.
The police say she died as a result of her injuries and there was no foul play suspected in her untimely death.
Chesney issued a statement expressing his deep sadness and condolences.
“I was devastated to learn of the loss of someone after our show,” Chesney shared.
“There had been so much joy, so much heart coming from the people of Denver last night — and to hear this is heartbreaking. Life is precious.”
