Kenneth Petty is the husband on Nicki Minaj.

The two married in 2019 and welcomed a son together in 2020.

However, Petty is also a convicted sex offender.

In 1995, Kenneth Perry was convicted of the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl.

He served over four years in prison before he was released.

As a convicted sex offender, he had to register every time he moved.

However, he failed to do so when the couple moved to California.

Last year, Petty pled guilty to the charges of failing to register as a sex offender.

On Wednesday, a judge sentenced Petty to three years probation, a year of home detention, and he will have to pay a $55,000 dollar fine.
