The Royal Family is changing.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, royal member titles have changed and there’s a King in charge for the first time in 70 years.

Queen Elizabeth II passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, at Balmoral in Scotland.

She was 96 at the time of her passing and she held the royal title of Queen for 70 years.

Her son, formerly known as Prince Charles, is now King Charles III.

On September 9, King Charles announced his first-born son, Prince William, will take over his royal title as Prince of Wales.

This means his wife, Catherine “Kate” Middleton will become the Princess of Wales.

She is the first royal to hold the title since William’s mother, Princess Diana.

Princess Catherine has long been compared to Diana given their fashion choices, commitment to children’s charities and dedication to causes that focus on issues such as addiction and mental health.
