Rebuilds Childhood Home in Chicago for ‘DONDA’ Listening Party

Kanye West is going the extra mile for his upcoming listening party for 'Donda' by moving it from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to his hometown.

New pics on social media show Kanye’s childhood home being constructed in the middle of Soldier Field. Crews were seen preparing for Thursday's listening party.

The blue dilapidated house sits on Chicago’s South Side, where Kanye grew up with his mother and father. Ye spoke about staying connected with his roots on 'KUWTK.'

Kanye eventually paid $225,000 to buy back the property, which had been sold multiple times since he and his mother had moved out.

This will be the 3rd public listening party, but the album has STILL not been released. The first two shows were in Atlanta and attended by friends and family, including estranged wife Kim.

Ye was paying over $150,000 per day to live at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It’s unclear if he will also be setting up shop in Chicago at Soldier Field.
