Kanye Finds Location For New School, Donda AcademyHe bought the property in California!!!
It looks like Kanye West’s school, Donda Academy, is one step closer to becoming a reality, as the rapper has allegedly found the site for his new tuition-free school.
West reportedly bought 3.7 acres of land in California, located between Moorpark and Simi Valley. The news broke after Donda Academy Inc. filed a permit request with Ventura County.
The permit asked for a change of occupancy for the Simi Valley Stoneridge Preparatory, which closed 10-years-ago.
According to reports, the property reportedly includes a 5,728 square-foot school with classrooms, labs, offices, kitchen, restrooms, a basketball court, and an open field.
MTV News recently reported that Donda will be a tuition-free private school that will serve 60 students from kindergarten through high school.
Kanye's goal is to honor his late mother and her dedication to academia. Donda West was a professor in the English department at Chicago State University.
