Justin Bieber and Dan + Shay are in a lawsuit debacle over their 2019 hit single "10,000 Hours."

Sound Gems, Melomega Music, and International Manufacturing Concepts filed for copyright Infringement on Thursday, April 21.

The companies allege that Dan Smyers, Shay Mooney, Bieber, and others copied "The First Time Baby Is A Holiday."

The single released in 2014 was initially written in 1973 by Palmer Rakes and Frank Fioravanti.

The companies allege that "10,000 Hours" has "unmistakable similarities," including the hook, chorus, and verse.

The lawsuit requests credit for the song, no further distribution, statutory damages, and attorney fees.

"10,000 Hours" earned Dan + Shay a 2021 Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

In April, Bieber's vocal technician, Chris “Tek” O’Ryan, sued his manager Scott Braun and JRC Entertainment for contract breach.

Tek seeks a jury trial on whether he should receive points for his work on the "Justice" album.
