R. Kelly has been convicted of federal child pornography charges by a court in Chicago.

The disgraced singer was found guilty of their counts relating to child porn and is facing several decades of jail time.

The trial started in mid-august and lasted one month.

During the trial, jury members saw shocking videos of Kelly abusing his 14-year-old goddaughter, now 37.

Three other women also claimed that the singer abused them as minors.

Robert Kelly abused many girls over many years," Assistant US Attorney Elizabeth Pozolo argued during the trial.

Kelly's defense counsel, attorney Jennifer Bonjean portrayed the prosecution witnesses as "extortionists."

Kelly's guilty verdict in Chicago follows a 30-year jail term imposed on the "Ignition" singer in June by a court in Brooklyn.

Kelly still faces sex crime charges in Illinois and Minnesota.
