Andrew Tate will remain in a Romanian prison.

The controversial social media star is behind bars on allegations of rape, human trafficking and creating an organized crime group.

Tate along with his brother Tristan Tate and two female accomplices were arrested in late December.

The Tate brothers’ legal team has attempted to appeal multiple prison sentence extensions with zero success.

On Tuesday, March 14th, Andrew appeared in court with hopes that he would be released; however, a court in Bucharest dismissed his plea for bail.

A spokesperson for Tate said of the judge’s bail denial, "Unfortunately, the Romanian judicial system denied Andrew Tate’s request for bail today.”

“We are disappointed in this outcome as we had high hopes to see Andrew reunited with his family.”

They plan to appeal the decision within 48 hours.

Tate will remain in prison until at least March 29th, and the prosecuting team will seek to extend his imprisonment according to Mirror UK.
