Joy Behar recently revealed that she was glad to have been fired from "The View" in 2013.

"I was glad to be fired. I basically was sick of the show at that point for some reason, I don't even remember why," she said in an interview with the Times.

Behar continued to make guest appearances after her firing and was rehired for the 19th season in 2015.

Behar said people did not like that she is "a powerful person on The View."

However, the comedian feels her "comedy has never been vicious or mean."

Behar said she annoyed Barbara Walters when she intentionally disclosed that Rosie O'Donnell had been signed on as a panelist in 2006.

"'You're a loose cannon, and I'm not renewing your contract,'" Behar recalled Walters' reaction during her feature on Hulu's "Behind the Table: A View Reunion,"

"I've had to apologize, which I'm happy to do in order to save mine and everybody else's job," Behar said in an interview with People.

Behar will reprise her role on "The View" in the 26th season of the show.
