It’s been a year since Jojo Siwa, the “Dance Moms” alum came out to the world as LGBTQ.

To celebrate her one-year anniversary of coming out, Siwa took to Instagram to post a message of love.

She used the same picture she made her original announcement with, only now, the caption had changed.

Siwa wrote, “In the last 365 days I’ve felt more love than ever.”

She also mentioned that people ask her if it was scary to come out. She said it was, but then again, any change is always scary.

Siwa said she felt she was put on this Earth to be a role model for kids, to tell them to be true to themselves.

She added a positive message, writing, “no matter who you are, what you look like, who you LOVE [remember] that you are absolutely perfect.”

Siwa thanked all her fans for their support and love, and for showing her “the most love” in the past year.

Paris Hilton was quick to send her encouragement, as was her mom, Jessalyn.
