Actor Johnny Depp recently donated the proceeds from his NFT sales to children's hospital charities.

The donated amount was said to be nearly $800,000 as per Depp's Never Fear Truth NFT Twitter page.

The donation recipients were the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, The Footprint Coalition, and The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

"We are excited to build on this success and make an even greater impact going forward," the NFT page tweeted.

Fans thanked the actor for redeeming his promise to donate to charity after the sales of the NFTs.

The NFTs included portraits of Depp, Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Hunter S. Thompson, Heath Ledger, daughter Lily-Rose, and Tim Burton.

The sale of the NFTs marked the first time the actor's drawings were displayed in public.

Depp's donation came after his concluded lawsuit with ex-wife Amber Heard.

The actor will return to the big screen in Netflix's upcoming film "Jeanne Du Barry."
