Fans are understandably excited about the new “Futurama” reboot.

They are understandably less excited about the idea of the show without Bender.

The rest of the cast has agreed to return, with the exception of John DiMaggio.

Deadline reported that DiMaggio felt that the proposal “was not competitive” based on his success.

They are still involved in a contract dispute that could potentially end with DiMaggio walking away.

“I don’t think that only I deserve to be paid more,” DiMaggio tweeted. “I think the entire cast does.”

He added, “Bender is part of my soul” and he meant no disrespect to his “Futurama” family.

He added, “It’s about self-respect.”

He closed off the message by saying that he’s “still hoping for the best.”
