John Amos, Known as 'America’s Father', Hospitalized Amid Launch of Elder Abuse Inquiry

Actor John Amos has been hospitalized amid allegations of elder abuse.

John, known as “America’s Dad,” has however denied any abuse and is unsure why his daughter started the fundraiser.

Shannon has claimed her father is in ICU and has been a victim of elder abuse.

Despite Amos's denial, the Colorado sheriff’s office is investigating the elder abuse claims.

The Custer County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and is in consultation with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Department of Human Services.
