President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The President, age 79, is fully vaccinated and boosted.

However, he is still experiencing “mild symptoms,” according to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Biden has reportedly begun taking Paxlovid, an antiviral drug.

The White House Press Secretary said Biden will continue to fulfil his Presidential duties.

However, some users on Twitter couldn’t help but point out the irony in Biden getting COVID.

Around a year ago today, Biden mistakenly said, “You're not going to get covid if you have these vaccinations.”

It prompted many to say, “Even if vaccinated and boosted, one can still get COVID.”

Some used his diagnosis to advocate for mask mandates, while others used it to advocate for less restrictions.
