Jimmy Kimmel will be absent from his late-night TV show for a few days.

On Monday, he took to Twitter to reveal that he contracted COVID-19.

“Our daughter brought us covid (even though we specifically asked her not to),” he tweeted.

He said that the whole family is “all feeling fine.”

He explained that he is both “double vaxxed and boosted.”

“But the show must not go on,” he said.

He revealed that comedian Mike Birbiglia would be filling in for him.

Kathy Griffin joked, “Oh no! I didn’t know that your children were such hard-core anti-vaxxers.”

“Oh well,” she added. “[Feel] better!!!!”
