The Marvel Cinematic Universe released “Spiderman: No Way Home” in December 2021.

Jimmy Kimmel stated “Spiderman: No Way Home” was a critical hit.

Kimmel questioned why “Spiderman: No Way Home” was denied a spot for the Oscars best picture category.

Kimmel argued that “ Don’t Look Up” was not good enough to earn an Oscar spot for best picture.

“Don’t Look Up” featured Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill.

Kimmel asked about the prerequisite for landing a spot on the nomination list.

Kimmel opined that the voters loved “Spiderman: No Way Home” but did not vote for it.

“Spiderman: No Way Home” landed only one nomination at the upcoming Oscars.

The 2022 Academy Awards ceremony holds at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 27.
