Jerry Springer is turning 78 years old today!

He was born Gerald Norman Springer on February 13, 1944.

Many fans don’t know he was actually born in the London Underground Station.

It was converted into a shelter when the Germans bombed London in WWII.

Both of his grandmothers were killed in concentration camps in the Holocaust.

After moving to the U.S. at the age of 4, he wanted to get into politics.

He was elected to serve as Cincinnati mayor for one year in 1977.

He later hosted 27 seasons of “The Jerry Springer Show” from 1991 to 2018.

He has been hosting his “Judge Jerry” courtroom show since 2019.
