More celebrities, including Comedian Jerrod Carmichael, have openly confirmed their LGBTQ+ sexuality.

Carmichael confirmed his gay sexuality in his recently premiered HBO special “Rothaniel.”

The comedian stated that he had kept the secret for a long time, knowing it would change people’s perceptions of him.

Carmichael gave hints about his sexuality in his 2019 documentary “Home Video.”

At the time, he disclosed details about telling his mother he had hooked up with the same sex.

“Rothaniel” is Carmichael’s third HBO special, previously releasing “8” in 2017 and “Love at the store” in 2014.

The comedian discussed his family background and his coming-out story in his latest project.

Carmichael debuted as a host on “SNL” following the premiere of his comedy special.

Carmichael remarked on Will Smith and Chris Rock's altercation at the 2022 Oscars, saying he was tired of the endless conversation about the incident.
