Jennifer Lopez started her career in 1991 with her dancing role in “In Living Colour.”

On June 8th, she launched a new documentary, “Halftime,” on Netflix.

It shows her journey through her career from being independent at 18 to performing at the super bowl halftime show in 2020.

The project was directed by Amanda Micheli, the founder of Runaway Films.

The co-founder of the halftime festival Robert De Niro commended Lopez and her story.

Lopez and her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, argued a lot, so Lopez left home at 18.

Though Rodriguez was complicated, she raised her kids to be independent.

Her love for dancing grew as it took her mind off of school and her mother.

The project showed how she reacted to her wins and snubs from the Oscars to the Golden Globes Awards.
