Jennifer Grey recently revealed that she would love Harry Style to join the “Dirty Dancing” sequel's cast.

Grey starred alongside Patrick Swayze as his love interest in the original film, which debuted in 1987.

"How 'bout Shmarry Shmiles? Somebody who rhymes with Shmarry Shmiles, [Harry Styles] " Grey teased on the “Drew Barrymore show” in response to her own question about who should play Swayze’s character.

The upcoming sequel will follow the same narrative as the original but with the added plot of including the story about Grey’s character, Baby.

Swayze will miss out on the sequel, having passed on in 2009 at age 57.

The showrunners are yet to reveal the casting details of the upcoming sequel.

“Dirty Dancing” sequel will be directed by "Warm Bodies" filmmaker Jonathan Levine.

Although unlikely, there is still a possibility that Singer Harry Style could land a feature in the sequel.

Styles has racked up more acting appearances in film productions like “Don't Worry Darling” and “My Policeman.”
