Jeff Franklin is the creator of “Full House” and “Fuller House.”

On Monday, he penned a sweet tribute to the late Bob Saget.

“I wrote the role of Danny Tanner for my friend Bob Saget,” he revealed.

He wanted the character to be kind, genuine, neurotic and endearingly funny.

He teased that Saget’s “x-rated sense of humor” was left out of “Full House.”

“It was my joyful honor to be a brother of Bob’s for 42 years,” Franklin continued.

He described Saget as a “comedy icon and exceptional human being.”

“Your spirit and your work will live on,” he concluded. “Love you Bob.”

“I’m so not ok with this,” one fan wrote. “RIP to America’s dad.”
