Jamie Lee Curtis is using her Oscars 2023 trophy to honor her transgender daughter Ruby Guest.

Curtis named her Oscar “They/Them” to show support for Ruby.

The actress got emotional as she spoke about the win on The Today Show and said she’s “very moved” by the award and support.

Ruby first revealed she was trans to Curtis and her husband, Christopher Guest, in 2020.

Ruby said it was an intimidating experience.

After she made the reveal via text, her parents were very supportive and it was an emotional conversation.

Curtis officiated Ruby’s wedding to partner Kynthia in 2022.

She’s an LGBTQ+ ally and powerfully condemns transphobia

Curtis thanked her friends who believed in her during her interview on Today.
