On Saturday night, Jake Gyllenhaal hosted “Saturday Night Live.”

This would be his first time hosting since 2007 – fifteen years ago.

He said “looking back, I feel like I was a totally different person.”

During his 2007 monologue, he sang a song from “Dreamgirls” in “full drag.”

“There I am in full drag, singing a song from Dreamgirls, to promote a movie where I played a gay cowboy,” he said.

Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph were his backup singers at the time.

This time, he talked about his hosting skills “suddenly coming back” to him.

He then sang “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” by Celine Dion.

This time, his backup vocalists were Chloe Fineman, Cecily Strong, and Ego Nwodim.
