It’s not raining cats and dogs. It’s raining fish. Literally.

At least it was in the town of Texarkana, Texas.

Texarkana is located about 200 miles outside of Dallas in east Texas.

The City of Texarkana, Texas, posted a statement of its official Facebook account.

“2021 is pulling out all the tricks… including raining fish in Texarkana today,” the statement began.

“And no, this isn’t a joke.”

They explained that “animal rain” is when animals like fish, frogs, and crabs are sucked up in water spouts.

They then fall to the ground at the same time as rain.

They concluded, “And please, for the sake of everyone, let’s tiptoe into 2022 as quietly as possible.”
