M&Ms have been given a makeover, but it has got nothing to do with taste.

Rather, it’s the M&M characters that have become more “inclusive”, causing social media users to ridicule the “wokeness” of candy.

The biggest change in the M&M characters has been made with the female ones causing social media to go on a rant.

Green’s go-go boots have gone, and instead, she had been “de-sexified” with white sneakers which have caused Instagram and Twitter to accuse M&M of slut-shaming Green.

Brown retains her heels and glasses, but the heel height has been reduced to more “sensible” levels.

Red and Yellow's shoes now have laces because that's what inclusivity means, having shoes with laces.

Orange's untied shoelaces are finally tied, even if his expression remains as anxious as ever.

Finally, Blue's shoes remain almost the same, although they seem to have been made uglier, if possible.

Twitter and Instagram are not pleased, asking M&M to just make candy and not go the “woke” way.
