Ice Cube has reflected on losing a movie deal worth $9 million.

The actor and rapper talked about the botched deal during his appearance on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast.

Cube first stated that he turned down the role because he was being forced to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

He later retracted his earlier statement, revealing that the showrunners axed him from the production after his refusal to take the vaccine.

Ice Cube has been a strong advocate of wearing masks despite his aversion to the vaccine.

He was lauded last year for donating protective equipment to an institution.

He partnered with a brand to raise funds for frontline workers.

The actor also exited the cast of another production, "Flint Strong."

He was expected to co-star alongside Ryan Destiny but was ultimately replaced by Brian Tyree Henry.
