Harry Hamlin talked about his company, TAE Technologies (Tri Alpha Technologies) in a new interview with longtime friend Andy Cohen.

The actor founded the company in 1998 in hopes of mitigating climate change.

He told Cohen: “We are partnered with Google, and have been for seven years. Now it’s a $5 billion company, and we are on the road to bringing clean non-radioactive fusion to the world.”

Hamlin continued: “This is a real project involving some of the most brilliant nuclear scientists in the world.”

He explained: “They are inventing a brand new way to make electricity that doesn’t use fossil fuels, doesn’t pollute the environment, can’t blow up, can’t melt down. It only makes helium as a byproduct.”

The actor also shared that his team is working on the project for “23 years,” and will possibly be finished by “2023.”

As to what fueled his desire to create clean electricity, Hamlin admitted that it was a Serbian nuclear physicist who introduced him to the idea.

He also shared that many companies are now lining up to partner with TAE Technologies.

Hamlin said: “We’ve been talking to Chevron for years. So when they talk about nuclear fusion, they’re talking about TAE. Chevron has been circling us so has Shell and BP.”
