Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she started caring about wellness after her father was diagnosed with cancer in 1999.

She said the change began when she was feeding him with syringes and tubes without full knowledge of what they contained.

The actress made the revelation during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning over the weekend.

Soon after her dad’s diagnosis, Paltrow began researching wellness and subsequently shared what she learned.

Her research led to the birth of Goop – a weekly newsletter that promotes taking care of the “inner aspect.”

She also has a website that sells her lifestyle, beauty, and skincare products.

The 49-year-old addressed nepotism as regards kids of famous parents on Hailey Bieber’s YouTube show.

She said even though their parents' name got them in the door, famous kids had to work hard to earn their own names.

She advised them never to let anybody take their little wins away from them.
