George R.R. Martin revealed he had more influence in the new series, “House of the Dragon,” than he did with “Game of Thrones.”

The prequel series to “GoT” premiered on August 21.

“HotD” showrunner Ryan Condal, said the author supplied the information for the Targaryen family's big reveal at the end of episode one of the new series.

Martin revealed the showrunners did not consult him after season five of “GoT.”

Martin allegedly wanted “Game of Thrones” to reach at least season 10.

Paul Haas, Martin’s agent, shared that the showrunners were eager to move on from the series.

Casey Bloys, HBO’s chief content creator, also stated (as per Insider) that Daenerys Targaryen becoming a war criminal was expected.

Martin is still writing the sixth book in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series.

The author reportedly aims to end the series in its sixth installment.
